Current PBC Projects
Pharmacy Benefit Consultants is currently working for the following entities, among others, on the following projects:
- A Fortune 100 Company retained Pharmacy Benefit Consultants’ Linda Cahn to analyze its current PBM contract’s weaknesses, construct a targeted audit, and simultaneously conduct a RFP to obtain a better PBM contract.
- A Union Consortium - representing 300,000+ members - retained Pharmacy Benefit Consultants to negotiate and draft a new PBM contract.
- A Communication Workers Union has retained Pharmacy Benefit Consultants to conduct an RFP, and negotiate and draft a new PBM contract.
- A Mid-West Business Coalition has retained Pharmacy Benefit Consultants to advise the Coalition about weaknesses in its current PBM contract, make recommendations concerning the scope of an upcoming audit, and conduct a RFP to locate a PBM auditor.
- A Plumbers’ Union retained Pharmacy Benefit Consultants to analyze its current PBM contract, and assist in negotiating a contract amendment to improve contract terms.
- A Mid-West Insurance Company has retained Linda Cahn to conduct litigation against the insurer’s former PBM concerning wrongful and inaccurate generic pricing and rebate practices, discovered through an audit
- A Mid-West, Publicly-Traded Company retained Pharmacy Benefit Consultants to terminate its existing contract based on wrongdoing discovered in an audit - unless all identified, material breaches are “cured”, and appropriate compensation is paid - and to negotiate and draft a new contract with a replacement PBM
- The Cover Story in the June 2006 issue of Benefits & Compensation Digest, was an article written by Pharmacy Benefit Consultants’ President, Linda Cahn, captioned “Ten Ways To Navigate An ‘Airtight’ PBM Contract”
